And just like that 7 months quickly flew by. Yep, it has been that looong. So many days, really, but nothing much has happened in terms of where our wedding plans are. My bad, I know. But, this kuripot bride has been busy. Well, with a lot of things, but mostly with the baby and baking.
In fact, as of this writing, I am confident to share with you that we have almost perfected (almost, since there is always room for improvement) our cheesecake recipe! I am actually thinking of doing a cheesecake for the wedding, either a bigger version or layered version for the wedding cake or cupcakes of varied flavors for the dessert buffet.
So far, we have tried (and sold to friends) blueberry cheesecake and coffee caramel cheesecakes. Both were a hit! Then, we recently nailed our latest variant—Bailey’s Irish Cream Cheesecake! It was pure yum! You can't eat too much though or you'll end up feeling a bit dizzy.
I am still overwhelmed by the warm reception from friends (and new-found friends!). Just last night, we had to bake over 10 dozens of cheesecake cupcakes and one 8-inch cake that are for delivery later today. My heart skips a beat with every positive feedback we get.
And at the rate things are, we might end up with an elaborate cheesecake buffet. A self-catered dessert buffet... now, that doesn’t sound so bad.
